Carl C. Curtis
Dr. Carl C. Curtis III is a Contributing Editor at TCR and former professor of English at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Dr. Curtis is a graduate of Texas A & M University with a B.A. in History in 1974, and the Institute of Philosophic Studies, the University of Dallas where he received both his M.A. n 1981 and his Ph.D. in Literature in 1986. He teaches the works of Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Homer, Virgil, Dante, and cinema studies. Among his publications are articles in Chronicles, Christianity and Literature, and Literature/Film Quarterly. He is married and the father of two daughters.

Mike Eisenbath, a contributing editor to The Christian Review, has been married to Donna for 30 years; they have four adult children and two grandsons. He was an award-winning sportswriter for 23 years, including 18 at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch with duties that included covering the St. Louis Cardinals and Major League Baseball. Severe depression forced him out of that career. He continues to write, with a monthly column in the St. Louis Review and his www.eisenbath.com website featuring reflections on topics such as his Catholic faith and mental illness. Mike is a frequent speaker on those subjects and among his three books is “Hence My Eyes Are Turned Toward You: Confronting Depression With Faith and the Prayer of Jehoshaphat.”
