I have no answers on how to deal with the seeming cultural surrender to endless bickering. I do know that when this happens, those on both sides, in the end, only wound themselves and destroy their inner peace.

Fr. Anthony died yesterday, peacefully, who was a young man when I entered, only 42 or 43. He was not always easy to get along with, but underneath his gruff exterior was a very kind and gentle soul. He was a poet and a writer and he had a powerful influence on many people.
